Construction Approval
At National City Mortgage we do not approve builders. So the construction approval process revolves around our review of the Contract, Plans and Specifications, Cost Breakdown, Draw Schedule and the Appraisal. Complete underwriting of these items gives us a good understanding of the construction project and comfort that the home will be completed as proposed.
The documentation needed for approval is minimal:
