Benefits
Through a flexible benefits program, National City
Mortgage offers a choice of comprehensive medical and dental plans to employees as of their dates of hire.
Voluntary Eye Care Coverage
The Eye Care Plan covers periodic eye exams and discounts on prescription eyewear. Employees may elect
coverage as of their dates of hire.
Life Insurance
On their dates of hire, employees are eligible for Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance,
Dependent Life Insurance and Voluntary Personal Accident Insurance.
Health Care & Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts Plans
Employees may contribute to the reimbursement account plans on a pre-tax basis and receive reimbursement of eligible
medical, dental and dependent care expenses. If hired before September 1st of the year, employees may participate as of their
dates of hire. Employees hired later in the year may participate beginning on the following January 1st.
Savings and Investment plan (SIP) -A 401 (k) plan
National City Mortgage helps employees build retirement income by offering the SIP.
Employees are eligible to participate on an unmatched basis after 30 days of service provided they are at least 21 years of
age. They can contribute up to 20 percent of eligible pay on a pre-tax basis, (generally, base pay and up to $75,000 of
certain additional eligible pay), subject to IRS limits. Your commission is considered "eligible pay", up to certain
stated levels, subject to certain limits. On the first day of the month following the first anniversary of your employment,
National City Mortgage makes matching contributions - $1.15 for every $1.00 contributed from 1 percent to 6 percent of
eligible pay.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Employees may purchase shares of National City common stock through
payroll deductions, cash payments and reinvestment of dividends.
Educational Assistance
National City
Mortgage encourages employees to continue their education and supports their efforts by helping eligible employees pay
certain tuition expenses for approved courses.
Transportation Management Reimbursement Account Program
Employees may set aside pre-tax dollars to receive reimbursement for parking expenses incurred while commuting
to and from work.
